Syracuse
Orthopedic Specialists is a group of 20 "specialty"
trained and focused orthopedic surgeons that are committed to
providing high quality, patient friendly, cost effective care
to the population of Central New York. The group currently operates
six offices in and around the Syracuse area, along with Specialists
One-Day Surgery Center. The offices are located in Syracuse,
Camillus, Liverpool and Fayetteville. Our offices service approximately
2400 patients per week in a radius that includes Onondaga, Cayuga,
Oswego, Madison, Oneida, Cortland and Jefferson Counties.

The
Surgeons at SOS have diverse and varied training and experience
that have allowed the group to have "specialists"
for treating particular body parts of the musculoskeletal
system. Among the areas of particular interest and expertise
are: Hand and Elbow surgery, Shoulder surgery, Spinal
care and surgery (including treatment for Scoliosis, etc),
Total Knee, Hip and Joint replacement and Surgery and
Foot and Ankle Care and Surgery which is provided by the
only Fellowship Trained Foot and Ankle surgeon in private
practice in Upstate New York.

The
group has invested in State of the art diagnostic tools
to ensure the proper, efficient diagnosis and treatment
of diseases and injuries. The "multi-specialty"
make up of the group allows the physicians to ensure that
the patient is treated by a physician with the particular
skills necessary to insure the highest quality outcome.
The
group has over 300 employees composed of support staff
that includes 17 mid level providers to complement the
20 orthopedic surgeons to service our patients. The mission
and goal of all staff is to deliver high quality care
with excellent results in a patient friendly, courteous
and respectful manner.
