POST A COMMENT

So glad to hear that Joe is making progress. You both must be thrilled. I never doubted Joe would improve once the many obstacles he faced were controlled. It's in his nature to fight and accomplish whatever goals he sets out for himself. We are so happy to hear about his improved motion and we look forward to further improvement. As always he is constantly in our prayers and thoughts.

HOO-RAH! It is so satisfying to receive positive progress reports. We hope that the warmer weather will reinforce the drive to improve-dare we say a pizza picnic al fresco?

Keep up the good work and we will continue our prayers

Joe,
I traveled to NY state to celebrate my sister Nancy 50th anniv.in the convent. While visiting in syracuse I found out about the web site and have followed your progress. To use a baseball anology, you were behind in the count,at the beginning of this journey but it seems like you have evened the countand are getting the advantage.I will have my sister utilize the powerful group prayer of her 450 fellow sisters in Albany to pray daily for your continued strength,in a remarkable recovery.
Your old buddy and team mate

Joe-

I thought of that great picture you sent me a couple years back of the sailors lining the perimeter of the USS Ronald Reagan as it passed the memorial of the USS Arizona.

There were sailors all over NYC last week. I was there with Julie to see a Yankee game, the last of the series with Baltimore. The fleet was in and there were clusters of sailors and Marines throughout Yankee stadium (including in the high price seats). A Marine general threw the first pitch in his dress uniform and a Yankee cap.

I went quietly up to several of the service people to shake their hands and say thanks. It was very moving for me. Mostly, they were shy about a show of appreciation.

Hey, we\'re all thinking of you and Carol and Family Smith!

You can do it.
