Outpatient Medical Coder / Charge Entry

A qualified candidate should possess 2 years of outpatient coding experience and/or a coding certificate through the AAPC or AHIMA to be considered for this position.

Education in a related program may be substituted for work experience. Qualified candidates will possess a broad knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10, CPT, and E/M coding. Job responsibilities include researching and resolving documentation errors, applying accurate ICD-10 and CPT codes for billing, and other duties as needed. Must be efficient, detail oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
