Patient Representative I

Monday – Thursday 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM , varying shifts as needed
Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, varying shifts as needed

Job Responsibilities:

  • Exhibits a pleasant telephone voice & good people skills, professionalism
  • Use of Medent E.H.R - experience is a plus but not required
  • Team Player and communicates well verbally and in writing
  • Check-in /Check-out patients and verify appointment and billing information
  • Schedule appointments, review missed appt policy with patient
  • Ability to handle a busy day while maintaining a calm disposition
  • Collect co-pays and review benefits with patient
  • Completes new patient Intake & Registrations inputting patient demographics in E.H.R
  • Set-up FOTO Intake Survey for patient visits
  • Assist Central Billing Office (CBO) with Medical Records Request per Policy & Procedure
  • Monitor/Track Plans of Care (POC’s) for Certification
  • Log discharged patients in computer system
  • Scanning of Physical Therapy documents into E.H.R
  • The ability to comprehend instructions, communicate well, and pay attention to details, the capability to handle a busy day while maintaining a calm disposition

Pay Range: $16.50 to $18.00
