Sarah Ames joined SOS in 2011. She works with the Sports Medicine team, mainly Dr. Ryan Smart, focusing on shoulder and knee injuries. Sarah also assists the Joint Replacement team, helping with post operative care and joint injections.
Prior to joining SOS, she worked as a PA at an orthopedic practice in Atlantic City, NJ. Ames earned a B.S. in Medical Studies from Kings College in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and earned her M.S. in Physician Assistant studies from Philadelphia University in 2007. She is board certified by the NCCPA and is a member of the AAPA.
