Monday – Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Full Time
This position will be working out of our Heritage Commons Location.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Will develop and use specialized knowledge in MRI safety to support clinical and emergency procedures in the clinical environment.
- Pre-screening of patients in person and via telephone.
- Interact with scheduling system to assist with appointment scheduling needs.
- Interact with EHR and PACS systems to assist with exam documentation, exam orders/billing, retrieval of prior comparison studies.
- Works alongside the MRI technologist to assist with exams.
- Prepares MRI and Arthroscopic patients for exams.
- Dressing, pre-screening, assisting with safe transfers, pre and post exam education
- CPR Certification is mandatory and can be acquired and maintained through SOS.
- Organize daily work schedule and respond to emergencies as they occur.
- Perform daily checks on equipment, clean and perform minor maintenance procedures.
- Provide for patient care, comfort, safety and patient confidentiality.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical tasks as needed.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
- Medical office experience is beneficial but not required.
Pay Range: $16.90 - $26.40
