What is a SOS Virtual Visit?
A virtual visit is a video conference with your doctor. You have a full conversation with your physician, just like in our office. Your doctor will assess your medical condition, prescribe treatment, and make recommendations for next steps.
These steps may be:
- Sending in prescriptions to your pharmacy
- Ordering medical imaging such as MRIs and X-rays
- Sharing home exercise programs
- Scheduling an onsite appointment
Does my Insurance Cover SOS Virtual Visits?
Most insurances are temporarily covering virtual visits. The following insurances have confirmed they are covering virtual visits: United Healthcare, Excellus BCBS, Aetna, Humana, MVP, Workers’ Compensation, Medicare, Medicaid, Empire Plan, UMR
