SOS Surgeons Set to Depart with Operation Walk NY to Ghana on November 1

East Syracuse, NY – Operation Walk New York (formerly Operation Walk Syracuse) is pleased to be leaving for it’s third consecutive medical mission to Ghana this Thursday, November 1. Brett Greenky, MD and Seth Greenky, MD, co-executive founders of the local chapter of Operation Walk, and surgeons with Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists (SOS), will lead the trip, their eighth volunteer mission. Soccer is an active, fun sport that is gaining popularity among girls and boys in America. The SOS physicians and staff caution that injuries can occur if you don’t play it safe. According to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, nearly 626,000 athletes were injured playing soccer in 2012. Common injuries include sprains and strains around the knee and ankle.
