Dr. Parker is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in joint replacement, sports medicine and the surgical treatment of complex fractures. He received his medical degree from the University of Rochester Medical School and his bachelor’s degree from Amherst College.

 Dr. Parker is an avid runner and cyclist, and a ten-time Ironman triathlon finisher, including the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii. He works closely with athletes to help them return to the highest possible level of performance.  He is widely experienced with fitness and training regimens, and has developed the RTI Protocol, a pool-based program designed to safely return injured athletes to the impact of running.
