Lindsay Groat joined SOS in 2003. Prior to that she worked as a PA in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery for a large orthopedic group in Boston, MA; and had previously worked in clinical cardiology research at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She earned a B.S. in Biology from Washington and Lee University in 1995. She earned her Physician Assistant Degree at Le Moyne College in 2001, and she was awarded special recognition in surgery by the NCCPA. She is licensed as a Physician Assistant by the University of the State of New York, Education Department, Office of the Professions. She is board certified by the NCCPA and is a member of the AAPA.
