Sports injuries among young athletes are on the rise. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), high school athletes account for an estimated 2 million injuries, 500,000 doctor visits and 30,000 hospitalizations every year. For April’s Youth Sports Safety Month, the physicians at SOS have joined forces with two local sports centers to promote the importance of youth sports safety.

SOS will be holding two educational events on:

April 12th at Sports Center 481

April 18th at the CNY Family Sports Centre
