Dr. Battaglia is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in the treatment of sports injuries of all types, with a particular focus on arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder and knee. This includes the treatment of rotator cuff and instability problems of the shoulder, as well as the treatment of ligament, cartilage, and meniscal injuries of the knee. He is the lead orthopedist for the Syracuse University football team, head team physician for the Syracuse Silver Knights professional soccer team, Onondaga Community College athletic teams, Bryant & Stratton soccer teams, and numerous area high schools. Dr. Battaglia is also the Director of the SOS Cartilage Center of New York.
