Dr. Anthony M. Orio is a fellowship-trained board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in joint replacement surgery.

Dr. Orio believes in a patient-centric approach and ensures he and his patients communicate directly to determine a course of treatment together. He brings innovative techniques to the SOS joint replacement team including a surgeon-controlled 3D mini-optical navigation solution. Dr. Orio and the other members of the SOS Joint Replacement team perform robotic-assisted joint replacement at the Specialists One-Day Surgery Center, the only outpatient robotic joint replacement surgery center in Central New York.

Dr. Orio earned his medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completed an orthopedic residency at Boston University. Most recently, Dr. Orio completed a fellowship in adult reconstruction at the NYU Langone Medical Center.
