Dr. Duggal is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle problems. He has a particular interest in treating all types of adult and adolescent foot and ankle injuries as well as the correction of deformities involving the foot, ankle and knee.

Prior to joining Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists, Dr. Duggal was the Chief of the Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Service at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. His research in biomechanics was performed at the Center for Advanced Orthopaedic Studies, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Duggal is on the editorial board for the journal Techniques in Foot and Ankle Surgery and the journal Orthopedics.

Dr. Duggal takes a compassionate approach to each patient and provides them with detailed information about their condition, expected outcomes and all treatment possibilities including non-operative and surgical solutions.

The Clinical Experience 
Dr. Duggal specializes in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery, arthroscopic procedures and the treatment of fractures. Dr. Duggal has a particular interest in the nonoperative and operative treatment of bunions and toe problems, flat foot deformity, ankle injuries in athletes, and ankle and foot deformity to prevent degeneration and arthritis.

Dr. Duggal's experience includes serving as teaching faculty in the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Training Program since 2005, and was the Chief of the Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Service at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston Harvard Medical School.
